Requires Unity 5.2.3 or higher.

Requires Unity 5.3.4 at least otherwise you will receive the Unity 5.3.3 or 5.2 fallback versions. Unity 5.3.3 fallback version is only updated to Salvo v1.01.

Shuriken Salvo is a gorgeous and easy-to-use Shuriken particle effect library without additional script to create looping attack effects of swarm of magical beams or missiles, leaving trails behind and traveling spirally which are both easily adjustable.

This asset contains 10 kinds of effect (fire, ice, lightning, wind, water, holy, darkness, arcane arrow, revive, meteorite, missile and shuriken) in both "swarm" and "single projectile" versions. Every elemental and missile effect has a basic and "grand" versions.
Swarm version only needs to be placed at the target's position and then the beams will be shooting afar on the target and trigger explosion. You only need to turn off the "emission" module of one single master particle prefab for smooth ending.
Single projectile version allows you to control the movement of each projectile directly and it will trigger blasting effect upon collision.

Performance on recent mobile devices is acceptable thanks to multi-threaded rendering of Unity 5.3, but you may want to further reduce the emission rates and lifetimes of each effect depending on how rich your scene is.

Limitations:
This is not homing missile in any sense. It does not take the attacker's position into account, although you can adjust the "launching distance" in the particle system easily.
If the target moves, the already launched beams will miss the target.
The head of the beam/missile must be billboard instead of mesh unless it is omni-directional. Auto-reoriented mesh particle like stretched billboard is not yet supported by Shuriken particle system.

This asset uses the new particle system features of Unity 5.3. While we have still submitted a fallback version using Unity 5.2.3, one of the major advantages of 5.3 is that it allows the single projectile effect to contain both the head beam effect and the triggering effect upon collision without extra script. To compensate 5.0 to 5.2 users, we have subdivided each single projectile prefab into 2 effects for more versatile usage.
