Object-wide Oscillation Simulation lets you configure & feel how a specific pattern propagates through the object that you're holding. Playback is as simple as triggering a pattern on a specific grabbable object, we handle finding each controller and sending out haptics in patterns.
In our own projects, this has proved especially immersive when for instance racking a pistol slide with one hand, and then feeling how the vibrations naturally spread to the other hand!
Several Playback Types are supported! You can play patterns in following manners:
Progressively - Allows you to feel individual clicks and vibrations as you e.g. slowly push a button or rack a pistol slide.
Play Over Time - Fire and forget! Patterns play over time and can be triggered upon certain events e.g. when holstering a weapon in order to make it extra identifiable for your players!
Layered Playback makes it possible for multiple patterns to play at once, and then having the overall vibrational strength automaticly combine.
Hands On Samples provide a quick way to learn how to further develop and build your own experiences. This package features a range of premade patterns and usecases for them, all of which can be explored in the demo!
